We have a full staff meeting planned for April 27th. Our focus at this meeting will be to understand what Customers want when they come to our bakery cafe. We have a project for all employees to complete prior to the meeting. Don’t worry! It will be fun and you will get to go out to eat for free. Our goal is for all of us to understand how to to make our customer’s experience the very best possible – one customer at a time.
We recently promoted Bobby to Team Leader. He is opening the cafe several days each week and continues to grow in his new position. We are in the process of giving many of our employees a little more responsibility. These increases in responsibility will come in small steps to make sure we help employees succeed in growing in their jobs. We will discuss some of these changes at the staff meeting. We have a great crew right now. We also have many employees who have the potential to take on more responsibility. We hope to help each of you grow in your jobs as much as you desire.
We have one very big change that will happen this summer. Harrison will be leaving us to go to graduate school. He has not yet chosen where, but it will be out of Huntsville. Harrison has worked at the cafe since before we opened and has mastered all jobs. We won’t be able to replace Harrison with someone who knows what he knows. But we will begin looking for an additional manager to step in when Harrison leaves later this summer.
Let’s all stay focused on making every customer feel like their visit to Atlanta Bread was a fantastic experience. During their visit they should feel welcome, enjoy the atmosphere and people serving them, and love the food. LET’S MAKE SOME HAPPY CUSTOMERS TODAY!
